Hello and welcome to 2012. The New Year celebrations have ended but the New Year brings new resolutions for everyone. Last month I talked about five steps we should commit ourselves to for the New Year. Many emails I received about my editorial are evidence that you liked my thoughts.

We at Testing Circus have also taken few resolutions. A few days back we asked for feedback from well known personalities in the software testing domain. We received positive and ‘you should improve’ feedbacks. We promise to implement the suggestions in our future editions.

Testing Circus is run with limited resources, but the team is enthusiastic about the future and has been working hard to present you with a better Testing Circus magazine. We are also working on creating a more interactive version of our website. We will have tighter editing and article writing guidelines and our regular columns will be re-evaluated to give you better infotainment. You will also be able to read blogs from our featured bloggers on our new site.

This month Rrajesh Barde predicts testers’ future with his TASTRO – Testing Astrology. We are also glad to present Michael Bolton’s interview in this edition. Parimala shares her thoughts on website usability and Mohit has beautifully written about the seven keys to being a good software tester. Marc Rambert explains about the Testing Pyramid and his version of the same. You will also enjoy articles by Claire Moss, Bernice Ruhland, Pekka Marjamäki and Rob van Steenbergen. Jaijeet continues with his QTP Code Corner and Fake Tester presents another page of his diary and reveals the secret of writing test cases this time. As usual you will also find recommended books in WoBo’s Book Worm Corner.

Special thanks to John Laurier for helping us making this edition of Testing Circus beautiful. Next month when we meet, we will be a smarter and slimmer magazine. Once again we wish you a very happy, exciting, educational and prosperous New Year. Keep reading Testing Circus and enjoy Testing.
